Spreading kindness one letter at a time!

Happy Letters teaches the importance of giving back and spreading kindness.

By drawing Happy Letters, children use their talents and creativity to spread happiness to people who could use a smile. Happy Letters are distributed to veterans, retirement homes, children's hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, and individuals in need of support or gratitude.

Our History

Happy Letters was created in 2015 at Traci & Friends Preschool when Happy Letters founder, Traci Pierson, was looking for an activity to teach her students about the importance of giving back and spreading kindness. She noticed the excitement the kids felt when they shared their drawings with each other. She thought, “How can we share this happiness with others?”

That year, her students started sharing Happy Letters with veterans, retirement homes, children’s hospitals, cancer facilities, first responders, and more!

After selling her preschool in 2021, Traci decided to continue Happy Letters in the NCW community. In 2023, Happy Letters became a 501(c)(3), working with 20 local schools and businesses, and creating and sharing 4,400 Happy Letters!
